Death Grips is een hiphopbende uit Sacramento (California) die vorig jaar met hun debuutmixtape ExMilitary meteen hoge ogen gooide. Dit jaar heeft Death Grips alvast 2 albums gepland; The Money Store verschijnt eind april & in het najaar zal No Love Deep Web volgen. ‘The most scintillatingly confrontational hip hop album to emerge in years.’ - The Queitus.

Die mixtape begint overigens met een quote van Charles Manson, en daarmee is de toon gezet. Verwacht van Death Grips geen zomerse hiphop, wel een portie gezonde agressie en veel energie, intensiteit en een beetje geschiftheid. Laat op 5 juni de blingbling dus maar best thuis.
