Bess Atwell^(UK)

De Britse singer-songwriter Bess Atwell bracht afgelopen zomer EP Big Blue uit, met producer Giles Barrett (die ook al met o.m. John Grant samenwerkte).

“I wanted to release a small project which would hopefully represent a refinement in my sound. The 5 tracks explore conflicting themes on identity, romanticism and reality”. De eerste twee singles, 'Swimming Pool' en 'Grace' werden alvast opgepikt door BBC Radio 6.  The Guardian beschreef Atwell als: ”a gifted singer-songwriter with a voice like slow, cool water.”
