Nap Eyes^(CA)

Nap Eyes creëert een uniek soort muziek die vaak vergeleken wordt met The Velvet Underground. De Canadese indierockband bestaat uit frontman en vocalist Nigal Chapman, gitarist Brad Loughead, bassist Josh Salter en drummer Seamus Dalton. 

Debuutalbum Whine of Mystic werd voor het eerst uitgegeven in 2014, waarna het in juli 2015 opnieuw werd uitgegeven door You’ve Changed Records en Paradise of Bachelors. Veelgeprezen vervolgalbum Thought Rock Fish Scale werd genomineerd voor de Polaris Music Prize van 2016 De band is gekend voor hun eerlijke studiomethode. Opnames gebeuren in sneltempo en overdubs worden vermeden. Zo werd Thought Rock Fish Scale volledig live opgenomen in een periode van vier dagen.
